A deep rooted metal and machine building tradition, ample machining capacity and engineers who know European standards.
Ukraine has been building heavy machinery for decades, and it shows in the machine park and in the way workshops handle drawings. Machining, sheet metal, welded structures and components for agricultural and industrial machinery place well there, often at companies that already supply German or Polish buyers.
The logistics are short: road transport to the Netherlands runs via Poland and takes days, not weeks. That makes the country attractive as a second source next to an existing supplier, or as a replacement for a supplier whose lead time has crept up.
What to watch: the choice of region decides almost everything. Insurability, power supply and staffing differ sharply per area, and security of supply belongs in the contract rather than in a promise. We map that per candidate before you commit.
